What to Expect

  • Step 1: Book a Complimentary Phone Consultation

    Every Align Your Shelf experience begins with a complimentary phone consultation so we can get to know you and understand your needs.

  • Step 2: In-Home Consultation (Optional)

    Following your phone consultation, you’ll have the option to schedule an in-home consultation. During this visit, we’ll come to your home, walk through the areas you’d like to address, and take photos (if needed) to help us create a customized plan for your space.

    Prefer to skip the in-home visit? No problem — if you opt out, we simply ask that you provide clear photos or videos of the spaces you’d like support with.

  • Step 3: Book Your Project

    We'll book your session, team and get you on the calendar. Then all you have to do is sit back and get ready for us to work our magic!

    On the day of your project, we’ll start by emptying the space, then categorize the contents, and map out a tailored system that fits your lifestyle — before finalizing everything with thoughtfully chosen organizing solutions.

  • Step 4: Love Your Space

    Your experience ends with a full walk-through to ensure you're 100% satisfied with the results — we'll even take all the donations for you.

  • How much does it cost?

    Our signature package starts at $2000, which includes:

    • Two 5-hour days

    • Two professional organizers

    Payment can be made in full or per session.
    Additional days or organizers can be added based on the size and scope of your project.

  • It’s totally up to you. Some clients prefer to be involved, especially during the decluttering phase. Others want it done while they’re at work or out for the day. We’ll talk through your preference during the consultation.

    Our goal is to support you, not shame you. We’re here to make your space functional and peaceful, no matter where you’re starting from.

  • Nope! We recommend waiting until we’ve decluttered so we can see what’s actually needed. If storage solutions will help, we can suggest and shop for items that match your space, aesthetic, and budget.

  • We sort everything into clear categories—trash, donate, recycle.


    We handle donation drop-off for you at local charities and can connect you with clothes consignment options if you’re letting go of high-quality pieces.
